Band members were cited on multiple occasions saying that they had been looking forward to this show after the scorcher that occurred in February at the Tabby. The intensity in that room that night was due to the unreal crowd/band interaction that sometimes happens when an energetic crowd hungering for one band meets said band that’s appreciative of their first sellout stint at the venue, and the band intended on returning the favor at the Masquerade. They delivered, in setlist, composition, and improvisation. A show I’ll never forget. May have been better than the aforementioned “scorcher.” Regardless, it was one of the most complete UM shows I’ve ever witnessed.
