Perfect guitar play on a not-so perfectly tuned guitar. The applause and faint attempt at an interview bug me a bit, as it seems to bug Matt also. His physicality strikes me as strange, not so much nervous as a symptom of an overdose of energy/enthusiasm. You can see he doesn’t fake the dark sense of humor in “The Gardener”, he’s got a grin and a gleam in his eye. Great session by any standard.
