Fleet Foxes @ Hard Rock Calling

Clockender’s take:

Sandwiched between a pretty impotent set by Ben Harper and standard stuff from headliner Neil Young (with surprise cameo from old chum Paul McCartney thrown in) Fleet Foxes, and in particular Robin Pecknold’s voice, proved early saviours in what threatened to be a washed out ending to the day. The rains came down just before they were due on on stage, but soon the effortless delivery of their intricate four-part harmonies parted the clouds and all was well. (more…)
