Phish — 19 Years Ago Today…
Good show here. The band wanted to play a gag on their former light technician, Tim Rogers. Tim would get up and jam with band on blues harp and just wasn’t that good. The gag was for Trey to introduce the new light technician, Chris Kuroda on blues harp, when it was actually John Popper. They were going to then give a copy of the tape to Tim and say, “the new lighting guy just started on harp and has gotten pretty good.” Nothing too earth shattering, but silly nonetheless.

King Sunny Ade — San Diego, CA (3/26/1984)
The innovator and purveyor of “JuJu Music“, King Sunny Ade is featured here. His music is rhythmic, hypnotic and extremely textured. This show and KSA’s 1983 release, JuJu Music are great starting points for an understanding of his music.
Funny Monday — Business Time (Flight Of The Conchords)
We were shown this yesterday by our friends, Rob and Megan. It’s a funny song from a funny show. I guess since it’s Monday morning, so it’s business time.
