Donovan & Bob Dylan — Don’t Look Back

bob_dylan_donovanIn a classic scene from Don’t Look Back, Donovan plays a brief ditty, “To Sing For You”. Dylan then feels compelled to bust out one of his recent jewels, in the form of “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue”.  Who do yo think wins this one up-man ship? At the time Donovan was being touted as England’s answer to Bob Dylan. Personally I think Dylan just shreds Donovan here, and it seems to show on his face.

Donovan asks to here Zimmy’s song “It’s All Over Now, baby Blue” if you listen closely.

Just saw Don’t look back last night. Epic film on the everyday life of one of our greatest artists and how he dealt with fame. Highly recommend

Question: What’s the difference between Dillon and Donovan?

Answer: Donovan can sing and PLAY the guitar. Dillon can’t sing, and only knows a how to STRUM the guitar, but somehow managed to make a lot more money than Donovan.
