Phish — In studio photo surfaces (NYC)

The members of Phish are rumored to be rehearsing at an undisclosed New York location this week. Like many Phish related events, rumors began circulating online last week and were furthered when Mike Gordon and Page McConnell attended photographer Jay Blakesberg’s New York book signing Monday. Gordon was also spotted at the final night of Phil Lesh’s Nokia residency Tuesday. Perhaps the most definitive proof arrived today when an image of Phish rehearsing in a Brooklyn studio hit the web. Though the photograph’s author is unknown, the shot is believed to be real. Phish’s decision to rehearse in New York is a major shift for a group that almost exclusively rehearsed in Trey Anastasio’s famed barn/studio throughout its later years.
