Haven’t had a chance to listen to this yet, but here’s David Byrne from the first night of his present tour.
Widespread Panic — To Be Inducted Into Georgia Music Hall Of Fame
We will be attending the Georgia Music Hall Of Fame induction ceremony this evening, where Widespread will join fellow esteemed performers in its pantheon. Former inductees include: REM, Chuck Leavell, Allman Brothers Band, Curtis Mayfield, Ray Charles, James Brown, Gram Parsons, etc. It will be a great night and will feature performances by the inductees, as well as a jam session, hopefully similar to the one in 2006 that featured Gregg Allman performing with REM. We’ll report on the events later this weekend.
