Bela Fleck & The Flecktones — Jingle All The Way
No. Not the superb 1996 movie with Arnold.
From Jambands.com: Béla Fleck & the Flecktones’ next release is the holiday record Jingle All The Way. The CD will be released September 30 on Rounder, featuring appearances by “guest elves” Edgar Meyer, clarinetist Andy Statman and the Tuvan Throat Singers. Produced by Fleck, Jingle All The Way finds the Flecktones running through a variety of both traditional and modern Holiday recordings, ranging from J.S. Bach’s “Christmas Oratorio #41” to “Silent Night” to “The Hanukkah Waltz” to Joni Mitchell’s “River.” The Flecktones just wrapped up a few support dates for the seminal fusion outfit Return to Forever and will regroup for a U.S. tour scheduled to kick off at Spokane, WA Spokane Symphony’s on November 15.

The clouds are mounting in the sky here and the rain is impending, so I thought I’d throw on the first music video, which happens to be “Rain”. This was made for The Ed Sullivan Show, formerly Toast Of The Town, a couple of years after The Beatles landmark appearance on the show.
I don’t mind…

Elvis Presley — Peacock Suit Goes For A Cool $300K
Elvis Presley‘s favorite performance costume, the peacock jumpsuit, has sold for $300,000, making it the most expensive piece of Elvis memorabilia sold at auction.
The online sale by auctioneer Gotta Have It! ended at 3 a.m. Thursday. The pre-sale estimate was $275,000 to $325,000.
The white outfit with a plunging V-neck and high collar features a blue-and-gold peacock design hand-embroidered on the front and back and along the pant legs.
The previous record for an Elvis collectible is $295,000 for one of his classic cars. The most ever paid previously for one of his stage costumes, a bejeweled cape, was $105,250. Both were sold at a 1999 auction at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, run by Guernsey’s.
