My Morning Jacket — I’m Amazed
Music videos. Remember those things? I remember a channel called MTV used to play them. I wonder whatever happened to that station. I hear they have a bunch of reality shows now. I thought it was MUSIC Television. Oh well, here’s a new video from Louisville’s reverb heavy natives, My Morning Jacket.

Abbey Road Live
We have seen these guys a couple of times and man, they are bad ass! Actually they used to be The Fuzzy Sprouts and were a band that I used to go and see with friends in college. They play the Beatles songs you wish that The Beatles would have played live, but didn’t. We’ve seen the following albums in their entirety: Abbey Road, The Magical Mystery Tour, Sergeant Peppers and they will be debuting The White Album this fall. Here’s a cut from Abbey Road:
Chuck Leavell — Amazing Keyboardist, Individual
What a resume this guy has. Allman Brothers, Stones, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Black Crowes, etc.. He’s member of the Georgia Music Hall Of Fame, as well as Alabama’s. He is also playing on Mike Gordon’s upcoming album, The Green Sparrow.
Chuck also is a tree farmer outside of Macon, Georgia and is a staunch supporter of conservation and environmental protection.
Here he is with Clapton:
Phish — Walnut Creek DVD
Phish has posted these three videos from the upcoming Walnut Creek DVD release. Are you as excited about this as I am? Perhaps its the anticipation of the possibility of them reforming coupled with a DVD that chronicles them at one of their many musical peaks or maybe its looking forward to the “Taste” that was played during a lightning storm. All I know is that this is going to be good.

Phish — Y.E.M.
In a video that was shot over 20 years ago, Trey, Mike, Jon & Page perform one my favorite all time songs, You Enjoy Myself. According to the notes, it was shot on 5/21/1987. What were you doing in late May 1987? I was finishing up 7th grade, Ronald Reagan was still president and U2′s With Or Without You was the number one song. If you’d like to see what song was number one on a specific date, you can go here: Number One Songs.
Okay back to YEM:

Robert Nesta Marley
One of my all time fave songs. Redemption Song. Bob Marley. The stuff legends are made of.
Stash with Ann Marie Calhoun
I saw this for the first time a few month ago and it blew me away. This girl can PLAY! Apparently she used to play with Jethro Tull and Steve Vai. She has played with Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews, Ringo Starr, etc.
moe. — Asheville (10/3/03)
One of my favorite moe. shows that I attended. I went with two of my best friends and we stayed up like adults do. Late. Real late.
Apparently the city of Asheville had an outbreak of hepatitis this fall, as you will hear the band joke about in the download. Enjoy: moe. 10/3/03 .
